Youthful Energy (2015)

 

Sometimes the simplest thing can bring such joy, like a swing!

 

While an artist-in-residence at the Caldera Arts Center, I installed this swing in a nearby burned area. The youth who attend arts camps at the Center, as well as the staff, are invited to enjoy the swing as a get-away spot, and share their youthful energy with the recovering forest.
